A beautiful and scarce hand coloured double “Pochoir” by Charles Martin (1884-1934) for the Paris Gazette du Bon Ton published in September 1920. “Let Jardin de L’Infante”.

A beautiful evening gown by designer Paul Poiret . It consists of a bodice and a full skirt in white satin lined with black satin. The skirt opens to a white gauze; and a black satin ribbon bow falls before.

The ultimate in fashion print from a perfect era.

Beaulieu Dans Les Fleurs – Robert Bonfils – 1920

A beautiful pochoir with hand-applied colour by artist Robert Bonfils (1886-1972) for the Paris Gazette du Bon Ton published in 1920.

Bonfils produced a rich painterly finished that mad his work unique with Gazette du Bon Ton. This example is one of only two vertical double images available in the whole collection.

Two dresses and a coat for the afternoon. The red dress is charming, with a lace front, the black and white spiked ribbon dress with matching satin bodice and the beautiful diallaine coat with large fur collar.
